FDP on MOOCs, E-learning and E-content in Higher Education


About the Institution 
Government First Grade for Women, Chamarajpet is situated in Bangalore South Urban region established in 2014-15 catering to the needs of economically and socially weaker sections of the people especially intended towards women education. The prime motto of the institution to impart better quality of education and empower the girls employable as the slogan stated by the central government "Beti bachao Beti padavo". 

About the Faculty Development Programme 
Information and communication technology is the biggest revolution in the Educational sector. ICT enabled education system enhances the Quality of education accessed to all people. Digital inclusion is the emerging trend paved the way for new technologies like web 2.0, 4G, cloud computing, smartphones offer plenty of opportunities in the educational field and changed the traditional method of educational system. Massive open Online Courses(MOOCs) is the platform for young minds to learn through electronic means providing materials on web sources make learning learner-centric and interactive in an economical manner. The Objective of the programme is to create awareness on new technical platform available to the stakeholder unearth their knowledge in the digitalization era.
